HY-WDC2E ultrasonic anemometer simultaneously measures wind speed and direction by utilizing the phase shift principle of ultrasonic waves. Engineered for continuous, long-term unattended operation in harsh environments, this device features an ultra-low power consumption of 15 mA @ 5 VDC.
Its ASA polymer housing combines lightweight construction with structural robustness, providing exceptional resistance to UV radiation, extreme temperatures -40°C to +70°C, and prolonged climatic exposure over 10 years.
